Roll away your stone
Mumford & Sons
So good… goosebumps and heart rate-increase-inducingly good.
heavy rain
The same rain cloud that flooded the streets of Seoul is now above Tokyo, raining heavily and mercilessly. I’m looooving it though, since I have no school today. I got to sleep in to the sound of rain. It reminded me of Singapore; where waking up to heavy rain happened on a normal occasion.
Tomorrow I will be hating the rain though. Since I’ve got school. And I’m doubtful I will be able to cycle in such harsh weather.
Current BGM:
Gonna make some brunch now, a hot cup of tea, and then work on my project.
I’ve never experienced such artist’s block before.
My beloved
I’m listening to Reuben’s ‘My Beloved’ on repeat on my iTunes. It’s such a beautiful song… It makes me miss the good old days of COJ. The weekly band practices with our beloved Raymond Soh… singing with Ruth, worship-leading, eating ba chor mee etc. And then looking over the photos from Reuben & Ginny’s wedding makes me feel so far away from the warmth ofthe COJ family I’ve known pretty much all my life. And now Ruth is further away from me! in SYDNEY. How things change… For awhile it felt as though everything back in Singapore was on pause while I lived my life here, but the more I visit home, the more changes I see. And so, home is becoming less and less familiar. Everybody seems so scattered. So far away. When can we all be together again?
